Welcome
Hi and welcome to my homepage. My name is Manuel Mühlig and currently I am a Ph.D. student at the Research Institute for Cognition and Robotics (CoR-Lab), Bielefeld University. Most of the time, I am doing my research at the Honda Research Institute Europe (HRI-EU). My Ph.D. supervisors are Dr. Michael Gienger (HRI-EU) and apl. Prof. Dr. Jochen J. Steil (CoR-Lab).
On this site you'll find information about me and other stuff. However, this site is quite new and I will add things as they come to my mind.

| A new (and actually my first) journal article has been published in the (Journal of) Autonomous Robots. It basically summarizes most of the content of my Ph.D. thesis. Please see the Publications section for more information or just head over to Springer. | |
| 2011-10-18 | Finally, an update again: Successful thesis defense and another granted patent |
| I am very glad to have the opportunity to announce the successful defense of my PhD thesis on the 9th of September 2011. After it has been officially published I will probably put it online in the Publications section. Furthermore, I just received the information that another patent has been granted.
